The objective of this organization shall be to promote
businesses and tourism in the Town of Hancock, Maryland and its
immediate environs; to foster the development of existing businesses
and attract new businesses to the Town of Hancock; to strengthen
the ties between Hancock area businesses and various Federal, state,
and local governmental organizations, Chambers of Commerce, and
private organizations in furtherance of the interests of the membership.
REQUIREMENTS FOR MEMBERSHIP
Full voting membership of this organization shall
be limited to paid businesses and individuals located in the Town of Hancock and within a twenty
(25) mile radius of the Town. Non-voting Associate Business memberships
are available for businesses beyond the twenty five mile radius of the
Town.
DUES
$125.00 per calendar year (1 Jan - 31 Dec)
$40.00 for associate membership (non-voting)
No membership fees for Not for profit local civic organizations. Organizations will be considered non-voting members. Chamber listing will provide links to organizations web site or locally prepared web page.
MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
The Chamber will prepare a basic web page with several photographs and limited text. Link to your existing web page is included in your membership fee, plus information on your business will be listed on the informational video kiosk located in Allegheny and Garrett County.

Distribution of brochures for businesses to individual mail request for local information.
